University Network for Sustainable Architectural Design and Urban Planning is announcing the International Conference on Sustainable Architectural Design and Urban Planning which will be held on May 15-16th 2007 at Hanoi Architectural University, Hanoi, Vietnam.

The Hanoi Conference will consist of conferences given by invited lecturers and 3 workshops:
Workshop 1 - Sustainable Urban Planning and Landscape Design (including themes such as: sustainable settlements, landscape and environment, waste and water management, environmental assessment, etc)
Workshop 2 - Sustainable Architectural Design (including themes such as bioclimatic architecture, renewable sources of energy in architecture, water and energy saving, etc.)
Workshop 3 - Sustainable Building Technology (including themes such as: life cycle of buildings, minimum-impact construction and demolition, building materials with minimum environmental impact, environmental management, sustainable maintenance, etc.)

Fees

The authors of the accepted papers will have free access to the conferences and workshops.

Members of the following universities will have free access to the conferences and workshops (regardless of whether they present a paper or not): Hanoi Architectural University, Politecnico di Milano and Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya.

Persons that are not members of the above mentioned universities, and who wish to attend conferences and workshops without presenting a paper will be charged conference fee - 3.000.000 vietnamese dongs. This fee is to be paid in cash, at Hanoi Architectural University, on the first day of the event, at the registration desk.
